The Stone Shop celebrates 10th Anniversary in Bridlington, England
Specialist gemstone jewellery, mineral and stoneware gift store 'The Stone Shop' will be celebrating ten years trading in Bridlington, England on the 16th June 2006. 'The Stone Shop' is a mother and daughter partnership. On Friday 16th June this year, Patricia and Carol Williamson will be celebrating 10 years of selling Minerals, Fossils, Gemstone jewellery, Amber and Jet at their shop at 11 Queen Street, Bridlington, England.
On the day, there is a warm invitation to everyone to come to the shop for wine and nibbles. They are also offering a 10 per cent discount on everything for the whole week Mon 12th - Sun 18th June 2006 inclusive. As specialists in Amber, 'The Stone Shop' has a large selection of gold and silver set Amber as well as one of the largest collection of insects in amber in the Yorkshire area. There are a large number of amber carvings as well as glassware. A wide variety of semi precious stone jewellery including jet and designer hand made jewellery is available. The Worsfold collection, a collection of hand made necklaces and bracelets, is unique to the shop. As well as jewellery the Stone Shop has a large collection of mineral specimens and fossils from all over the world. There is also an enormous variety of stoneware and carvings which make wonderful and unusual gifts.
Patricia Williamson first started trading in Leeds, expanding on her interest in geology and fossils. She was joined by Carol when the shop moved to Bridlington on the East Yorkshire Coast. Patricia enjoys the rock and gem fairs, where she can obtain a good variety of stock for the shop, while Carol is more interested in the jewellery side of the business.

www.the-stone-shop.com, which is now generating sales in the USA as well as in the UK. We are now looking forward to another 10 years in Bridlington which is now very much our home.
